One of the best parts about attending the large International Spa Association Conference (ISPA) held at the end of October is walking the trade show floor to see the latest and greatest spa products. Over 200 manufacturers were showing off their current collections and over 50 products were introduced at ISPA. Here are some of the things that caught my eye:
Osmosis: The Age Defying Treatment Concealerimpressed me during an onsite make-over. The concelaer contains a moisture stick on one end to soften lines and a liquid concealer on the other. The concealer covered dark circles and two small sunspots better than any make-up brand I’ve tried in the past.
Oka b: You’ve undoubtedly worn their sandals at the spa, but the company makes cute everyday shoes as well. I have narrow feet and have never found a good ballet flat, but the handcrafted Oka b’s managed to stay on my feet. The flats come with adornments like bows, flowers and baubles and in many colors.
Kerstin Florian: I’ve been a fan of Kerstin Florian for years. This year the Intensive Hair Repair was top on my list to try. The correcting skin care line was expanded and includes products like the Brightening Facial Treatment, Serum C + Infusion and the Hyaluronic Serum. I’m betting the Intensive Slimming Series will be one of the most popular new offerings.
Sencha Naturals: The Green Tea + C with Dragon fruit and Citrus Ginger drink mix might be the way I can wean myself off other powdered drink mixes. They blend two types of green tea and Acerola Cherry which offers 300% of daily Vitamin C. All of the flavors are vegan, kosher, gluten and sugar free.
Smith Tea Maker: Ok, apparently I was on a tea kick during the Expo! But the company’s Jasmine Green Tea was one of the best blends I’ve ever had.
The Universe Knows: I’m a sucker for inspirational messages and liked the material used in the burn out T-shirts that featured slogans like Cherish the Journey, Trust the Process and Follow Your dreams.
